Using blogs in my English class

For me, the experience of writing a blog in general is excellent. I could practice with this exercise. I think that it´s is a good idea because; the students chose a theme and then, write about it. The fact of choosing the topic means that this topic is more interesting because it isn´t an obligate theme. Then, my English classmate read some blog, and answers with a commentary about another person. But, I think that this signature should not be mandatory because, although English is very necessary and fundamental, the possibility of learning English should be an option.  

About my feelings, I know that I need to learn so much to understand English but these methods, like blogs, is a way to foster the taste for this language, including others languages because languages in general, are an important door to begin communication.  I still need the dictionary but, I could learn the words that I more frequently use, to say an idea.

I like the activity completed in class. I would like to include in the future the possibility to see a complete movie in the signature of English, for example. This film should be spoken in English and subtitling in English. Perhaps, it is more difficult to evaluate if all the students understand the movie, but including some general questions about the film in the second section of the class, for example, is a good method. I like to suggest this because I like so much the cinema. So, I usually want to see a movie. And I think that is so entertaining to speak about the perception that could a good film arouse.

In the blog and in class, I wrote about interesting topics and for this reason I couldn´t think easily about a topic that I would like to write about. 

About education

With the word "education", i think in my chilhood, the past in the school, in all my teachers. And i don`t could avoid to compare this teachers with my professors of the university. And both are good elements and bad elements as educators and as workers of a institution.I think that i was the most happy girl in primary school education. But always says: the children stay so much time in the school. And this is a problem because quantity isn`t quality.
The Finland education system look like very good, very interesting and accomplished proyect. All childrens in Finland are really learning and this situation don`t stand out, all are equals. In my opinion, the education in my country is very selective. Only some people have a good education or a relative and expensive education (money say in Chile: "oh! this is good because is expensive"). And some childrens manage love the consciousness. Other people lear to love the consciousness when could be dedicate time to some of this taste. For the mayority, the education is an obligation or a form of get much money with more and more titles of many institutions. In my case, i was "luck" because my parents don`t have much money, but my mother find an alternative (and private) school. It wasn`t expensive. Too, i had a scholarship for my good califications. In this place i had time for search myself and my friends. But, i had bad teachers too. All the people have some or all bad teachers in the life. Because, in Chile, the teachers in the school, are very dissapointed and this emotion is transmiting to the students. In the university is differents because the teachers are researchers, but the problem is that they don`t know how explain their knowless in a simple method. And the knowless became a cultural capital and the university students live in a kind of competition.

In my opinion, the education in Chile could be better if the State spend much money in this area because  the education is transverse in all the relationships. Less weapons, more schools. And less students for curse, too. And, that the public school have students of differents social class for the equality ongoing. I think that the difference between Chile and Finland are all the elements names. The fact that in Chile by choose a better education, you must pay, is an educations of market for the rich people. In Finland have a different concept about education. Chile need a change of mentality. Chile look towards EE.UU, and this country is horrible in very much meanings. But this change need be accompaine of money.

And the teachers need more time for recreation, and places for have more and actually knowless by let of speak about of boring themes imposed for the Education Ministry. Too, with this motivation and better pay of course, some aspects could be better. Too, the childrens in social risk must be place for study and a supports of a group of responsible people that want teach of all students with the difficults include.
I`m agree about teachers get paid same as a lawyers or doctors and bankers. The problem in this case is that these people have a lot of mony. The life must be more cheap with our tax and the tax of busines. The teachers are very important in this world. All the peoples should be teach, something like this: "lear to teach, teach to learn" or "learn by teach, teach by learn". By all, all, all the time.
The technology help to know more, understand other reality in other distant land, at the moment. So, the people, i include, must wake up, because the constant discovery of the human are very amazing but too, the use of the science, for example, be used for the destruction of the planet earth. And then... what?, travel to other planet? for destroy its too? Is fundamental have more conscience about: the human is only a little part of the Nature. Is necesary rescue values that don`t have economic price.  In this sense, the economist have been developer of a poor and misery present.    





 

Person/expert on my field that i admire

Persons who i admire aren´t writers of sociology but both are important reference for all the discipline. I´m speaking of Carl Marx and Frederich Nietzsche. For the few time and all obligations of the career, i don´t could read all the works of these authors, but i learned so much from they.

Both have extensive biographies, for this reason I try to include the important elements for me, that serve to explain some of these authors.

Both authors are the German classic school of philosophy and both believe that the "idealism” of Hegel school contributed the important concept of “dialectics” in the human process of his history, but refused or dulled the unequal material conditions in that the people live. This elements between others, are required to be aware from concrete historical moment. But Marx and Nietzsche have different study object. Marx reclaim and defend to workers in the capitalism system, and Nietzsche reclaim to individual persons and his liberty and his ethics in contradiction with the catholic submission.

Marx and Nietzsche are very considerate in different disciplines. Said of Marx that he was historian, economist, philosopher, sociologist, etc. Nietzsche is widely read for students and writers the different disciplines and specialization in humanities and social science. I am one of this students that feel admiration for the ideas of Marx and Nietzsche, and i try to know it much better by make more deep my writing.

That´s my song

It´s very difficult choose one song because always there are some melodies that like me so much, beside of mark me in fundamental moments of my life. So, I through in my favorite musician and the song that more liked me of him and all the reason for that was like this. This musician is Luis Alberto Spinetta and my favorite song of him is the first song that I knew of this singer. I began to listen Spinetta because my father was fanatics and he had almost every cassettes and vinyl of his music. “Los libros de la buena memoria” appeared when I went to school. This song was my favorite song for many years for intimates reasons. One day, my father says me that he want marry and that happened.  And my boyfriend and I learned the chord and lyric of “Los libros de la buena memoria”. And then, we played this song in the wedding. My father was very emotional. I felt that it was a magic moment. This song remember me so much sensations. For this reason, it is for me, so similar to the expression about the wine: this song turns on better with the time.  

Memories

This picture was taken in October 2013, when I traveled with a group of friends to “Carnival of one thousand drums”. This is a carnival that takes place in Valparaiso, it goes for two days and it happens in different places in the city; one day in a hill, other day in the middle of the street near the sea or even at the beach.  

The moment of the photograph was very funny because I was lost in the street party and suddenly, I saw this person dressed up of Alien (“the predator”) hold up “the flag of all the people”. And I thought at that moment:- it´s a very contradictory image, so I took the picture and then, I went to search for my friends. When we found each other, the Alien was after us. And then, he began to chase us. And other friend, that who was further, had camera, and began to take more pictures of Alien and all of us running, screaming and trying not to be eaten up by “Alien, the predator of all people”.   

Film

Well, my favourite movies are not the tipical ones from Hollywood but Little and lost movies from different countries. I also love movies that mix fiction and reality. One of my favourites directors is Tony Gatlif because he Works with regular people and not with actors, and all this movies are about different people who lives in all kind of unknow places, many characters are musicians.

In Latcho Drom, one of my favourties Tony Gatlif documentary films, its about some gypsy people and their music and dances before the rise of flamenco music. Thats why the story begins at India and ends at Spain. First time i saw this movie I was shocked learning about the history of gypsy people as a wandering culture victim of war.

Last movie I saw Its also a Tony Gatlif movie called Swing. I recommend you this movie because its a simple and strong story.

My favorite piece of technology

I have a mini synthesizer. It is a little keyboard with USB connection. Its buttons have the equal organization that the key of a piano. And each one sound like a piano. It’s wonderful because I can compose different musical idea and record in a kind of computer program that can be compatible with the keyboard. This program could be free downloaded from the internet. I have the Reason program. With the Reason, I have the possibility of change the sound of my mini synthesizer, I can simulate others instruments and I can record each different sound in a different track too. Then, I can synchronize and mix this tracks depending on my musical idea.  I use this piece of technology in the week (when I don´t have some work in the university) or in the weekend. I like so much this machine too because it´s very transportable and it needs only one little cable USB to operate. I like its black and grey colors too, on top of that i bought this musical instrument with my first salary.
